I'm getting my big toes tattood tomorrow. Its going to hurt like a bitch. I decided I wanted to get something as a memorial for garrett so I'm getting his high school soccer number on my toes. It was always fucking hilarious to watch him play soccer with his crazy shenanigans.

I won 40 bucks at the casino.

    Blah.

    Toys!
I'm looking for toy stores that sell more unique toys rather than the mass-produced over-hyped stuff you get at Toys-R-Us. Bonus points if it carries infant toys!

good trip. i'm so happy i got to go back. i saw a ton of family i only see every couple of years, if that. it never feels like we spend much time apart though. my grandma's funeral didn't really feel like a funeral even though i cried a lot. i laughed a ton too. she was so funny.

    helmets for large heads?
I have recently (within the last 6 months) fallen in love with biking. I ride a 1970's green raleigh that has been converted to a fixed gear with front brakes (sorry- completely unrelated statement, but I felt the need to put that in there ^_^)

My problem is this: I have a very very large head, including my hair (which is in dreadlocks, but they have only added an inch or so to the measurement) it measures at 26 inches.

I have been to local bike stores and have tried on all sorts of XXL helmets, but none of them fit at all. I'm nervous about buying online simply because I do not know if they will fit properly. I did try on one that *sort-of-fit* but it was HUGE, I honestly looked like I had installed a satellite dish on my skull and it was really snug- I could not wear it unless my hair was left down (ie: not in a low ponytail) and half of it was in front of the straps

Thus far I have been riding sans helmet, but I'm worried about what will happen when it snows here (in Utah, it will) and I will most likely biff it twenty times on my way to work...

Does anyone have any recommendations for helmets that will fit my giant skull?

Bell apparently used to make one that has been renamed and no longer is being listed as available in a size that will fit me

Could anyone recommend a good, honest auto mechanic in town? Close to the university campus would be ideal.

I'm creating a mini-zine of people with their bikes for a communication design class @ my university. If you could help me out, email a photo of you with your 10-speed, fixed gear, mountain bike, bmx, scooter or anything alternative transportation, really.

    Have it your way.
I purposefully took a seat on this hill in the shade, so i could overhear this man preaching loudly to nobody.

I know, i know. When a person is shouting about religion and Jesus on the mall of the u of a campus the typical response is to immediately disregard their beliefs as bullshit and keep walking swiftly down the sidewalk as if the person doesn't exist. Well I, more than ever, appreciate the value of having someone listen to you. So, here i sit.

He speaks of our societies emphasis on bettering the self even at the expense of others. Selfishness is ingrained in our personalities from the day we are born. i agree (partly) with what he's saying about this. I really would like to see someone at least attempt to perform a selfLESS act. Part of the reason i lose respect for people is because i see how selfish they are and how they're so willing to burden themselves on other people so they can benefit. it's disappointing.

i've been dealing with so many things lately and it's been really hard on me. I just need more security in my life. More guarantees. More done deals.

    i don't even know anymore.

i kind of hope nobody reads this. But if that was really the case, i wouldn't hit post right now.

This rare vintage collectable classic Shwin cruiser is a true collectors item & one of a kind. A real smart bike collecting man told me it's a pre-war skiptooth muscle bike & not to take less than $200 for it. Needs some cleaning up & maybe new tires. SERIOUS ONLY! NO LOWBALLS! If I have to repost it, I'm going to raise the price--that'll show 'em!

I keep having really vivid dreams and its not that cool. For 4 days in a row now my dreams have all kind of been horrifying. Not in a scary movie kind of way but in a real kind of way. All very possible things that could happen that would fuck me up emotionally.

    oh well.

I got a good amount of sleep last night and i feel great, minus the fucking dream.

    COLD weather shorts/pants?
So, I'm facing another winter of biking and I think I'd like to find some kind of garment to block the wind from my crotch. I usually wear some shorts or light weight pants over top of cycling shorts or tights, but this doesn't seem to be cutting it this year.

What shorts/pants/tights do you folks use to keep your junk warm? I'd like something that's wind PROOF and not too bulky. I find for the most part I generate a lot of heat when I'm biking, I think I just need something that will keep out the wind, but not get too sweaty and gross in the process.

Does anyone know anything about this place? I responded to their job posting on Craigslist and have talked to someone there through e-mail and phone, but can't find very much information about them on the internet. I would just like to know a little bit more about them before I send in my job application, if possible. Thanks!

    this shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-ASS
its been a while since ive actually written a coherent post. what the fuck happened there? my room is getting messier and my thoughts more scattered, but i bought a new razor and it helps.

i think my bikes all ready for el tour on saturday, hoping that i am too. if anyones interested in meeting me at the finish line and going for a drink or lunch or nap, ill be tentatively arriving in front of the TCC at about 1:45-2:00pm. in spandex.

i think im gonna start a photo project. again. like i say everytime. but this time for real. ive even got a few locations in mind. models needed?

    like i said, scattered.

im a lonely fool, and i cant control my feelings, so dont subjugate me to them. and if its real then fine. but if its not dont string me on like a fish on one of these

and thats what ive got to say.  life continues...

    much love.

Is there any kind of dinner theater in Tucson?
My two basic requirements are as follows:

    1. Real food made by real cooks, as opposed potato skins smothered in cheese.
    2. Real entertainment, as opposed to a twentysomething guitar virtuoso wannabe.
